This approach is used to de?ne the semantics of s- eral languages, including graphical languages, such as G-Log and GraphLog, semistructuredinformationlanguages,suchasLorel,andtemporallanguages, such as TSS-QL. Both graph-based approaches and bisimulation had been used by previous authors for de?ning query languages and their semantics; however, this work goes well beyond previous approaches by integrating and re?ning these techniques into a ?exible and powerful paradigm that Elisa demonstrates to be e?ective on a spectrum of languages and a suite of alt- native semantics.

Will Require Patience and Faith

I should think a lot of people will think this book is nuts. Good, it's not for you, move on - you aren't ready for this. However, this unapologetic workbook contains some real gems on life, and if it is taken in socio-historical context as a work coming out of Chilean magic practice, the Tarot, and Surrealism, you can begin to see a lot of truth in the ideas. I tried out a couple of the exercises and was amazed that indeed, they worked. Towards the back of the book, the most interesting ideas start to flourish, and if you can get through the intricate and sometimes repetitive work pages, you will be rewarded. A keeper for life insights from a true genius.

So great! So weird and wonderful but the first ten pages alone are worth it. He has a wonderfully practical way of being very blunt yet optimistic. Most of the book is just different scenarios/problems and a couple "recipes" on how to solve them.

About the Author
A 25 year veteran of the coaching profession, with twenty-two of those years spent as a varsity head coach, Coach Kevin Sivils amassed 464 wins and his TEAMs earned berths in the state play-offs 19 out of 22 seasons with his TEAMs advancing to the state semi-finals three times. An eight time Coach of the Year Award winner, Coach Sivils has traveled as far as the Central African Republic to conduct coaching clinics. Coach Sivils first coaching stint was as an assistant coach for his college alma mater, Greenville College, located in Greenville, Illinois. Coach Sivils holds a BA with a major in physical education and a minor in social studies from Greenville College and a MS in Kinesiology with a specialization in Sport Psychology from Louisiana State University. He also holds a Sport Management certification from the United States Sports Academy. In addition to being a basketball coach, Coach Sivils is a classroom instructor and has taught U.S. Government, U.S. History, the History of WW II, and Physical Education and has won awards for excellence in teaching and Teacher of the Year. He has served as an Athletic Director and Assistant Athletic Director and has also been involved in numerous professional athletic organizations. Sivils is married to the former Lisa Green of Jackson, Michigan, and the happy couple are the proud parents of three children, Danny, Katie, and Emily. Rounding out the Sivils family are three dogs, Angel, Berkeley, and Al. A native of Louisiana, Coach Sivils currently resides in the Great State of Texas.

Decent little book.

For the money, it was an OK book. I bought it hoping there would be several drills that I could use with my team of 11 and 12 year olds. There were two drills in the book, one of which I could use with my group. The concepts and statisitics in the book are interesting reading. All in all I enjoyed the book.

This volume is the first of two that will replace the prior Anchor Bible volume, Proverbs and Ecclesiastes, by R.B.Y. Scott, now more than forty years old. Much has been found, read, and discussed since then, making the new volume necessary and welcome.

The greatest strength of the book is Fox's ability to place Proverbs in the extraordinarily rich wisdom tradition of the ancient world, with particular attention to surviving texts from Egypt, Mesopotamia, and the Dead Sea. No less important is his attention to the differing transmissions of Proverbs through different scriptural traditions. Like the best of the Anchor volumes, the notes delve deeply into the details, constantly paying close attention to the Hebrew, with reference to the Talmud, to elucidate words, syntax, and symbolism.

Fox goes beyond merely recording parallels with other texts and commentaries of prior scholars: he weighs them, disputes them, and advances his own conclusions.

This new volume encourages me to think that the Anchor Bible will continue to grow and improve.

A Guide in the Truest Sense

What I liked:

1) The Tone
He's direct but not dry. There are no personal anecdotes about his own fashion mistakes or how dressing well changed his life, etc. He's not a cheer leader and there are no promise of a better life via a well chosen sweater. It's a guide on dressing well and his message is very direct and to the point. It's objective (well, about as objective as you can be about fashion) yet he writes well enough that you won't feel like you're reading a text book or a manual.

2) Breadth of Knowledge and Organization
He covers a lot of topic but breaks it down into chunks, and organizes them in a way that makes sense. Gallichio clearly knows what he's talking about and he covers the more esoteric topics as well as the basics. It's not just "wear this, not that". He teaches you how to shop, what details to look for, how to measure properly, etc.

3) Timeless Advice
It's not trendy. If you want to know what's in and what's not for this season, invest in a fashion magazine. This is a great guide to use if you want to establish a basic foundation to build on.

4) High Standards
In a culture where quantity trumps quality this guide might seem a bit unrealistic; fashion can be expensive. However this guide encourages you to invest in things that will last and teaches you how to spot well made clothing.

5) Visual Guides
One reviewer mentioned lack of pictures. I think the amount of illustration is appropriate for this guide.

What I Didn't Like

1) Formatting
I think the author meant to insert links. I have the Kindle Touch and the links didn't work for me. However, they're not crucial to the guide so it didn't bother me.

This is a great reference for someone looking to improve the way they look. I found it very easy to read and approachable. The author avoids the generic "Wear this and you will look cool" approach that seems to characterize most books/forums in this genre and instead gives easy to understand and practical advice on how to create a more personal style that is more in tune with the kind of image you want to project to the people you meet.

I think the advice given in this book is useful for everybody, from men who want to undertake a stylistic overhaul, to men who could simply use some pointers to think about when they are trying to find clothes that make them look good.

Like the title says: Highly recommended.

Great Book, great price! As someone that likes to dress well and doesn't always have the time to spend trawling through mags or online, this book has given me some great tips that work for me! It's very well written, with some great illustrations and insights. Recommended!
